Taking on London

Hello world!
I am very super excited! Why you may ask? Because for the first time in my life I am going on a super awesome vacation! I grew up living in Canada and with four younger siblings, travelling was not realistic for my family. So at the age of twenty I decided to pack my bags and plan a trip with none other than my long time best friend Olivia! (you can check out her sweet blog here!) We are headed to the wonderful city of London, England.
During our trip we have many things and ideas of what we should do. So far we have ideas like drinking tea, the London Eye, Harry Potter tour (which I am sooo excited for), seeing a show, the wax museum, double decker buses. Many of these are things that the typical London tourist would want to do, but I was wondering if any of you have been there or even live there and know of any unknown gems, little places or things to do on our trip that wouldn't show up when you search "things to do in London, England." Do any of you have any cool ideas that would be something a little different to try, maybe a great restaurant or anything that you love? If so I would love to know, leave me a little comment!

My scarf!

Hello everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been really busy. And by really busy I mean watching The IT Crowd on netflix.
So as I said last week, I had set a few goals for myself. Well, what do you know I stuck to them! And here is the scarf I made! Woohoo! Thank goodness to YouTube tutorials!

So because I wanted to make a different version of an infinity scarf I made my own pattern! Well not really a pattern because it was in my head! So if any of you are interested here is how I made it!
Firstly, I cast on, then I knit one row, pearled the next and so on. I had 35 stitches in each row and I just cast off at my desired length and sewed three large buttons on using the thick cross stitching craft thread to connect the ends together!

And voila! How to make a kind of unique scarf!
